Broken into three sections, this resource page is a thoughtful list of smart phone apps that can be used to enhance your productivity, organization, and roles in all areas of your life.

 

On campus:

 

Due is your day-to-day productivity coach. It sits in your phone and guides you throughout the day from one task to another. You enter your task list and it buzzes you when it is time to move on to the next thing.

 

Evernote is your premier cross-platform note taking service. Using text, audio, video, and URL you can create a platform that manages all of your classes, notes, to do lists, and course projects.

 

Quizlet is a worldwide educational utility that builds study tools specifically for you. Enter in your course information and it will help to build you flashcards, quizzes, and multiple-choice tests.

 

In the community:

 

Workflowy is your brain’s organizer. It is simple enough for grocery lists, but powerful enough to run a company.

 

HootSuite is your one stop shop for everything social media. Managing social media accounts for your job or internship? Load them onto this platform and organize your posts weeks in advance. Not only will this increase your organization’s social media consistency it also allows you to get ahead of the game.

 

SelfControl helps you to avoid distracting websites for a limited time, so that when you are at work you can actually be working.

 

At Home:

 

Zite is a personally curated magazine that combines all your favorite news outlets and websites into a visual platform. So as you catch up on the latest and greatest in your “down” time you only have to click once!

Any.do is a simple agenda app that allows you to do more with less effort. It combines your calendar appointments, to-do items, reminders, and maps and creates for you an all-in-one application for your day.
